Founded in 2008 by BMG musical theatre lyricist | songwriter | artist Carly Robyn Green, Zippy Toons (ASCAP) is a one-stop go-to shop for music licensing. Zippy Toons has placed original songs in 175+ major network and cable shows, independent movies, and feature films, specializing in customized title themes, cues, and end title songs. Clients include HBO, Showtime, Hallmark Channel, Lifetime, ABC, NBC, CBS, MTV, HGTV, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Universal Pictures, and Sony Pictures. Zippy Toons also licenses music to multi-platinum artists worldwide, with a special focus in the KPop and JPop markets, and since 2018, Zippy Toons co-publishes new music for musical theatre productions globally. Zippy Toons theatrical music can be heard in international musical productions by Toho Theatricals, OD Company, Ranspace, and more. Zippy Toons also offers an extra-curricular virtual songwriting program for kids, ages 7-17. Harnessing students' natural musical instincts, our instructors teach the craft of lyric writing and melody creation while encouraging self-expression and creativity. Students across the US and Canada range from young talents from Broadway, national tours, and TV/film, to creative students from arts schools and music preparatory schools. Zippy Toons LLC is an official Vendor of the NYC Department of Education, and maintains its California Child Performer Services Permit.
