Ziva Community Initiative

Ziva Community Initiative is a non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming the livelihoods of artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) and rural agricultural communities in Nigeria. Established in 2019, Ziva champions inclusive development by equipping miners and smallholder farmers—especially women—with the tools, training, and policy advocacy they need to transition from marginalisation to sustainable, dignified livelihoods. Our work recognises the deep interconnection between extractive Industries, food security, and long-term community resilience.
