Basecrete is a flexible waterproofing bond coat with unparalleled permeability, strength, and adhesion. It is potable water approved (ANSI 61).
It can be applied using a sprayer, roller, trowel, brush, or squeegee, with no pre- or post-treatment of the surface. Scarification of the surface is not required. Basecrete's most common application include parking garages, detention tanks, balconies, basements, concrete roofs and patios, pools, etc...
Basecrete is resistant to harsh chemicals, acids, fuels, sunlight, and saltwater. Basecrete is perfect for use in confined spaces due to its odorless nature and lack of off-gassing. After application, it can withstand water exposure and vehicle traffic within 24 hours, and is capable of handling heavy commercial traffic.
Ideal for both new construction and existing structure repairs, Basecrete can be built out in increments of up to two inches. It adheres to a variety of materials, including cement, stone, metal, block, glass, ceramic, porcelain, ICF, EPS, XPS, wood, acrylics, and polyurethane. Once applied, it becomes part of the substrate. Basecrete is also published in the Miami Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA).
