Zoa Collective

Our story began in 2022, in Mombasa, Kenya. It was born from a search for minimal, handmade and functional home accessories, that spoke of honest craftsmanship and genuine materials. Embarking on a journey of discovery, our search unveiled the extraordinary world of artisanal crafts and boundless talent in Africa. We began working with artisans across East Africa to create our unique collection of timeless textiles and sustainable homewares. Since our inception we have worked with several weaving communities in East Africa. In 2023, the Zoa team, fulfilled a long cherished dream, of setting up their weaving & design workshop in Old Town of Mombasa, Kenya., and began their Sabbr weaving training program with one artisan. Our approach to textile production and homewares aligns with our mission to produce high quality and sustainable products, that revive traditional crafts, support local artisans, nurture communities and preserve the planet.
