Zone Radio originally started as an internet radio station on 1 April 2011. We commenced our FM broadcast in November 2019 for the “Deep South” (refer Note below) in the Western Cape which has afforded us new opportunity to adapt the current model and begin trading commercially. We have become known as the Voice of the Valley and our global target audience is the approximate 68,000 people living in the Deep South, affectionately known as the Valley by the people living there. We are targeting a music loving audience between the ages of 25 and 65 who have a preference for adult contemporary music. Our Competitive advantage is that due to our geographic conditions, ie the Valley being surrounded by high mountains, our signal from within the valley is stronger and more consistent than other radio signals trying to reach this audience. Zone Radio has an established reputation for training and development, as well as supporting new and established local musicians and independent artists.
