Zongo Media is a project of the Media Literacy Development Foundation, a non-profit organisation registered in Ghana to develop media literacy and entrepreneurial skills in young people from underserved communities to advance democratic inclusion.
The Zongo Media project which started in 2019 to cover Accra Newtown, Nima, Pig Farm, Kotobabi and Maamobi seeks to harness the power of Zongo youth through media literacy and entrepreneurial skills to improve youth development and democratic inclusion.
Zongo Media Network is a professional group created by the MLDF to offer experienced media professionals the opportunity to volunteer their professional skills and experience to the Zongo community.
Zongo Media Academy is a youth-centred training and learning space that provides a framework for learners to access, analyze, evaluate, and create messages in various forms, including print, video, audio, and social media to build their capacities as media entrepreneurs, communicators and change agents.
