Zonta District 14

Zonta International is a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls. We envision a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence. More than 26.000 members belong to more than 1.100 Zonta Clubs in 62 countries and geographic areas. District 14 was formed in 1994 - the oldest European Zonta Club (Zonta Club of Vienna I) belongs to our district. Today District 14 includes 40 Clubs in seven countries: Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Germany (Bavaria and Thuringia), Hungary, Italy (South Tyrol), Lebanon.
