De Zoogdiervereniging zet zich in voor onderzoek naar, en bescherming van inheemse wilde zoogdieren én hun leefgebieden in Nederland. Dat doen wij al sinds 1952. Naast de vele vrijwilligers en werkgroepen die actief zijn binnen de vereniging is er het professionele bureau in Nijmegen dat opdrachten uitvoert op het vlak van onderzoek, advisering en voorlichting. The Dutch Mammal Society is an independent, non-governmental organization. We seek to bring together all those doing research on wild mammals and their habitats as well as those engaged in their conservation.
