ZS-Handling Technologies offers non-contact ultrasonic handling systems for sensitive substrates, which enable contactless pick & place, conveying, sorting, loading and unloading as well as inspection of components.
Thanks to ultrasonic technology, contactless handling of processed or coated surfaces, including flexible substrates, is possible. By avoiding surface contact, micro-scratches, micro-cracks or other damage can be prevented.
Since no additional air is brought in for the air bearing, our systems do not generate any turbulence or carry-over of impurities in the air. This significantly reduces the risk of particle contamination, which makes our systems well suited for cleanrooms.
In contrast to conventional air bearings, our technology does not require the generation of compressed air with complex and cost-intensive air treatment. Our handling tools only require an electrical power supply and, if necessary, a vacuum connection (negative pressure). Therefore, the energy consumption is reduced, and the operating costs are very low.
