Wir setzen Impulse für den Schutz von Umwelt, Natur und Klima: Mit diesem Anspruch agiert die Zukunft – Umwelt – Gesellschaft (ZUG) gGmbH seit ihrem Start im Jahr 2018. Konkret entwickeln und betreuen wir im Auftrag mehrerer Bundesministerien eine Vielzahl von Förderprogrammen und strategischen Projekten. Wir leisten einen Beitrag für eine klimaneutrale Welt, den Erhalt von Biodiversität und den nachhaltigen Umgang mit ökologischen Ressourcen. Leitlinie und Fundament unserer Arbeit sind die Ziele der Bundesregierung für den Schutz von Umwelt, Natur und Klima. Ob klassisches Förderprogramm, neuer Wettbewerb, Modellprojekte, Kompetenzzentren oder Wissensplattformen: Wir konzipieren, bauen die benötigten Strukturen auf, begleiten die Umsetzung und evaluieren die Ergebnisse. Wir beraten Antragstellende, prüfen Förderanträge und sorgen für eine zielgerichtete und effiziente Verwendung der Mittel. Zusätzliche Leistungen wie eine zielgruppengerechte Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit oder professionelles Veranstaltungsmanagement ergänzen unser Aufgabenspektrum. Qualität, Wirtschaftlichkeit und Effizienz sind grundlegende Maximen unserer Arbeit. Die von der ZUG betreuten Initiativen zeigen, was in Umwelt-, Natur- und Klimaschutz konkret möglich ist, ob in Kommunen, sozialen Einrichtungen, Start-ups oder Industrieunternehmen – in Deutschland wie weltweit. Wir vernetzen Akteur*innen und schaffen mit ihnen neue Ideen und Ansätze. Wir vereinen Expertise zur Gestaltung und Umsetzung von Förderprogrammen sowie strategische Kompetenzen für Umwelt-, Natur- und Klimaschutz. Mit diesem Leistungsportfolio bieten wir Lösungen aus einer Hand. Mehr als 1.000 Beschäftigte sind an den Standorten Berlin, Bonn und Cottbus an der Schnittstelle von Politik und Praxis gemeinsam tätig.
