Åsbo Farm

ÅSBO farm has been in the family since the end of the century 1900. The farm is located near the sea Hjälmaren and includes both a part of Hjalmaren and a number of islands in the lake. The property includes, currently, about 60 hectares land. 10 hectares arable land, 49 hectares of forest land and about 1 ha “other” type of land. In addition to this there are ca 20 ha lake. On the property are two residential buildings and several outbuildings. The activities on the farm is mainly: agriculture, forestry, property leasing, hunting and fishing. They part the property facing Hjalmaren (including the islands) is for a number of years now, long-term leased (no end date) to the provincial government and is part of Gökuddens nature reserve. Agriculture and the hunt are carried out by tenants. Although the fishing in Hjälmare is partially leased.
