Íslenskt eldsneyti ehf. or ÍE is an Icelandic fuel company which produces oil, fuel as well as importing Biofuel for wholesale and retail. ÍE was founded in 2013 following extensive interest and shared devotion to produce Green Biofuel. Now ÍE has the ability to produce 3,0 million liters of Green Biodiesel annually, in its manufacturing plant located in the southern part of Iceland. Since the company was established, research into algae oil extraction and algae by-products has been undergoing as a special project within ÍE. Algae has the potential to absorb massive amounts of Carbon dioxide or co2 and it can practically grow anywhere.
