Extratique is creating a one of a kind synergistic phyto-cannabinoid prebiotic nutraceutical tailored for people suffering from irritable bowel syndrome. Our proprietary delivery platform allows compounds to reach the colon which would otherwise be digested. In the colon, the anti-inflammatory effects of cannabidiol (CBD) coupled with the gut microbiota enhancing properties of the prebiotic is expected to support the gut to combat inflammatory processes and balance the microbiome. The nutraceutical will be subjected to clinical trials in a pipeline to unlock the full potential of the whole cannabinoid spectrum including tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Our product development lines also include: hops (Humulus lupus) extracts in native and microencapsulated forms, high DHA algal oil extracts from Crypthecodinium Cohnii.
