About ĀPŌPŌ Indigenous CreativeTech Hub
ĀPŌPŌ – Wellington City’s first indigenous CreativeTech programme and hub. We’re here to grow Māori and indigenous peoples participation, success and leadership in the CreativeTech industry and provide mentors, community, space and tools to solve tomorrows problems. ĀPŌPŌ Indigenous CreativeTech Hub is a place where Māori and indigenous people and businesses, who are passionate about creativetech, can collectively learn, work, collaborate and thrive. Our hub is the only place that puts Māori and indigenous people, culture and language first in the world of design, innovation and technology. It is a unique Māori-centric environment where kainoho can work alongside each other, collaborate, innovate and learn from each other. In our experience, just working with like-minded, entrepreneurial and creative thinkers leads to many new personal and business opportunities. We aim to attract Māori entrepreneurs and businesses with complementary creativetech skills who will build their own community of colleagues, mentors and advisors.
