Unity Ventures was founded in 2011 with a mission to back breakthrough innovation and capture structural shifts driven by technology. As one of the leading early-stage venture capital firms in China, we manage five RMB-denominated funds and one US dollar fund, mainly investing on angel, Series Pre-A and Series A rounds. Unity Ventures invests at the frontier of deep tech and interdisciplinary innovation, from artificial intelligence, robotics to advanced manufacturing, biotech and new energy, with a track record in identifying technologies that shape the next wave. We've backed more than 300 startups, including early investments in QingCloud (688316.SH), Airdoc (2251.HK), Momenta, Tungee, and Zhonghe Group, among other listed and unicorn companies. Before establishing Unity Ventures, our founder Shaw Wang was a member of the founding team at Baidu, where he led several core business areas, including service operations, B2B search, and mobile initiatives. With over two decades of experience in technology entrepreneurship and early-stage venture capital, he has received recognition from industry institutions such as Zero2IPO, ChinaVenture, 36Kr, and Forbes China, including awards like “Top 10 Early-Stage Investors in China”and “China TOP 100 Venture Capitalists”.
