We are living in ‘the climate decade’. What we do between now and 2030 will determine our competitiveness, our wellbeing and will have significant implications for the future. So we need to get the energy transition right! That is why I named the company 2degNRG (“2 degrees energy”). The Paris Agreement puts a global rise in temperature of 2 degrees Celsius as the absolute threshold the world should not exceed. Energy is crucial in achieving this and I want to dedicate my energy to that goal.
My goal is to use my experience and capacities to deal with climate change. My experience as an energy regulator for almost 20 years, combined with my experience in stakeholder management and communication, make me an energy strategist. My ambition is to assist companies, organisations and public bodies with setting up and implementing sustainability programs, especially in energy and mobility.
I am not a consultant, I am an expert who provides advice. And if I cannot answer your question myself, I know where to find it from another expert.
My goal with 2degNRG is to provide strategic, regulatory and communicative expertise in the field of sustainability in general and on the energy transition in particular.
2degNRG can:
• provide advice to companies, organizations and governments;
• help develop a policy and strategy for organizations, governments and companies;
• manage projects or organisations and companies with a focus on the energy transition;
• assist with or provide stakeholder management;
• provide strategic communication advice;
• maintain relationships with the media in the broad sense on behalf of the organizations and companies with a view to implementing the elaborated strategies, always based on my accumulated expertise in the field of sustainability in general and the energy transition in particular.
