In einem Folgeschritt geht es dann darum, über Funding-Aktivitäten Spenden zu generieren, die den Aufbau eines zentralen Hub‘s (‚Center of Excellence‘) in Deutschland für Patienten mit dem Alström Syndrom (und perspektivisch auch anderen seltenen Krankheiten) finanzieren und dessen nachhaltigen Betrieb ermöglichen.
Dabei soll über einen systemischen Ansatz nachgedacht werden, der auch für viele andere Erkrankungen anwendbar ist, um so perspektivisch einer möglichst großen Anzahl an Menschen helfen zu können.
