Alternative Brands is a Strategy & Design Studio based in Shanghai - with an APAC clientele. Established in Early 2020, we are a small team of domain experts and cross-disciplinary talents - who love solving problems. We help our clients leverage consumer insights, cultural learnings, and identify new growth opportunities for their brands. Add to this, an over-stretched marketing team that can barely scrape through day's deadlines. As a result, things get executed slower, or start looking inconsistent. What does it take to experiment faster without being shallow & gimmicky? This is where we step in, and we make strategy bite sized. We assimilate a lot of context, data, vision, goals, and translate a big, validated plan into smaller chunks that are executable. We streamline and solve. Think of us as an outsourced CMO.
As of current year, 2024, we work on BRAND STRATEGY & DESIGN with early stage startups & their founders, as well as larger corporate brands and leaders: in either case, we ensure that your brand runs on consistent principles, that add up to its long-term story.
