For centuries, the country’s maritime waters have served as a major medium for the transport of goods for domestic and international trade. Beyond its national borders, the maritime waters link the Philippines’ commerce and trade with neighboring Asian countries through its strategic location in global shipping routes.
The present situation of shipping and fishing enterprises and the projected future demand for ships/boats and manpower resources, are the critical consideration AMLO Bros. Group decided to embark in the domestic shipping, ship management, ports and logistics management, maritime education and training, and maritime administration, among others.
The name of the company was designed to be short and brief and as much as possible will bear meaning to the pillars of the institution. Hence, the name of the company was taken from the first letter of the given name of four (4) prime movers: Antonio, Miguel, Lloyd, and Oscar.
