The Apex Accelerator
The Apex Accelerator is a full immersion series of Nine, four-hour seminars offered both on-site in the Enterprise Center at Plymouth State University and off-site by request (Incubator Without Walls). The program culminates with a Demo/Pitch Night.
The seminar series in aggregate, provides an understanding of the process and practice of Small Business Development and New Venture Creation.
Participants participate in an immersive crash-course/bootcamp in rapid business optimization and new venture creation; overarching themes include:
Session 0: Introduction and Orientation
Session 1: Business Modeling
Session 2: Business Intelligence
Sessions 3 and 4: Strategic Marketing
Session 5: Entrepreneurial Leadership
Session 6: Entrepreneurial Finance
Session 7: Presenting to Win
Session 8: Pitch and Demo Night
Participants develop a business case (3-10 pages) and the knowledge and communication skills necessary to critically defend and support the strategies, initiatives and decisions therein.
