De Natuur geeft mij energie. Van de ontelbare uren die ik heb doorgebracht in de buitenlucht, heb ik geleerd dat ik daar het gelukkigst ben en me weer kan verenigen met mijn kernwaarden. Ik probeer in mijn werk als oudoor-gids voor iedereen een toegang te bieden tot deze positieve ervaring van ‘zo voelt het om in deze wereld te zijn’.
Ik geloof ook dat onze ervaring in de natuur doorwerkt op onze ontwikkeling. Elk ‘project’ dat we bedenken daar zal in retour ons ‘kneden’ tot een beter mens (het web dat de spin weeft...).
Mijn passie voor de bergen is de grote drijfveer achter het volgen van de opleiding tot International Mountain Leader. Al jaren neem ik groepen mee de bergen in om hen mee te nemen in mijn belevingswereld en om letterlijk en figuurlijk even boven de dagelijkse drukte uit te stijgen.
