The Arthur M. Brazier Foundation, located in the Chicago neighborhood of Woodlawn, seeks to vastly improve the quality of life in Woodlawn and its surrounding neighborhoods. Through a dynamic process guided by people and organizations indigenous to their communities, the Arthur M. Brazier Foundation will assist and guide the Network of Woodlawn (NOW) and other not-for-profit agencies in the surrounding communities that seek to create a comprehensive and interdependent model for community building by strengthening the areas of education, public safety, economic development, and health and human services. These critical four “pillars” compose the vital infrastructure that creates a vibrant, thriving community that can sustain itself. The Arthur M.
