We exist for a world where no one walks the road to recovery alone. We're recovery warriors battling to make evidence-based recovery services accessible to those who need them. Recovery warriors combat discrimination and stigma against persons in recovery from addiction and substance use disorders. We fight to end the criminalization and incarceration of people who use substances and we advocate for governments to change to human rights-based policies and recovery approaches.
We bring like-minded people like you together, persons in recovery from substance use disorder (“SUD”), people affected by (SUD), and also, those who support and advocate for them. By coming together, you benefit from each other’s support as you journey the difficult road to recovery and return to normal, fulfilling lives. Together we:
1. Facilitate collective action and cooperation among individuals, organizations, and governments in Asian countries.
2. Create a platform for knowledge exchange and resource sharing to address challenges faced by communities in Asia.
3. Conduct research and development of an evidence-based and science-backed body of knowledge.
4. Strengthen advocacy for policy changes that support emphatic and evidence-based approaches to recovery.
