Het Expertisecentrum Alternatieve Bekostiging Zorg wil zorgpartijen helpen bij het ontwikkelen en evalueren van alternatieve bekostigingsmodellen. Dit zijn bekostigingsmodellen die een oriëntatie op patiëntwaarde lonend maken voor zorgprofessionals. Een alternatief voor volumebekostiging.
Het centrum is in oprichting en bestaat uit wetenschappers en beleidsmakers met ervaring in zowel het ontwikkelen, implementeren als evalueren van alternatieve bekostiging. Onder andere in de eerstelijns- en medische-specialistische zorg.
De leden zijn afkomstig van Health Campus Den Haag en Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam.
