At CAEMBA Youth, we are a dynamic, youth-led organization based in Quito, Ecuador, committed to making a meaningful impact in impoverished communities on the coast of Ecuador. Associated with Raíz-CAEMBA Ecuador, we have partnered with seven schools, uniting passionate students to engage in community service and social initiatives that foster social change.
Our mission is driven by the belief that young people have the power to create lasting change. We’ve proudly secured a $36,000 grant from UNICEF and Nord Anglia, enabling us to build sustainable homes for families in need. Our dedicated members have constructed 24 houses, providing safe and stable living conditions for those facing adversity.
With over 350 active members, we cultivate leadership skills and teamwork through hands-on involvement in fundraising and construction projects. To date, we have raised approximately $100,000 through innovative initiatives like raffles and entrepreneurship fairs, all aimed at supporting our community-focused efforts.
