Calls Over Ridges (COR) is an international non-profit organization headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan with local teams operating in South and Southeast Asia.
Established in 2015 in response to the devastating 7.6 magnitude earthquake in Gorkha, Nepal, we are now a diverse global community united by our aspiration for a world where every child can realize their potential through stable, long-lasting, and quality education.
Our Education System is an approach that develops program models that address two aspects: Educational Access and Quality Education. These programs are implemented on the ground by our partners, undergoing extensive localization to ensure they meet community needs and institutional capacity.
But what makes this educational action long-lasting? At COR, we go further and incubate young talents to take the lead in creating the change. To overcome systemic barriers, we provide leadership development and skills training to cultivate the next generation of NGO leaders and support the formal registration of local NGOs.
As of 2024, we've positively impacted the lives of over 8,500 children through 8 ongoing programs across four countries. And until quality education is accessible everywhere, our adventurous spirit will continue to inspire new collaborations and initiatives to transform the educational landscape from the ground up.
