The Center for Creative Learning was established in April 2017 to nurture the scientific temper and inherent creativity in students and teachers, which is a crucial requirement in the 21st century. The purpose of this center is to create a space where learning is fun, experiential, and leads to conceptual understanding. The idea was, and remains, to immerse oneself in a subject while learning it by doing and thinking, rather than just reading about it. For this it is crucial to make our classes engaging and to trigger children's curiosity.
We started with an empty 400 square foot room and now have three rooms filled with 1000+ unique STEM models and activities. Having conducted 100+ STEM and hands-on learning workshops for over 10,000 teachers and engineering college professors, and interacting with more than 100,000 students from all across the country, what keeps us going in our mission is the gleam in the eyes of people when they make and play with our toys and models, and their energy to make sense of the world around them with a scientific and mathematical lens.
