The CWG creation was motivated by the growth of the e-mobility sector & the fact that large arrays of products and production process technologies are required for Net-zero. The CWG provides a platform to discuss production technologies and strategies for high volume production; including challenges and future perspectives regarding their full digitalisation. The CWG on Production Technologies and Systems for E-Mobility meets bi-annually: CIRP Winter Meeting, Paris (February) & CIRP GA (Aug).
