Climate Core Asia was borne out of the Pakistan Private Sector Energy Project (https://www.linkedin.com/company/pakistan-private-sector-energy/) that is funded by USAID Pakistan, implemented by the Private Financing Advisory Network and jointly hosted by UNIDO and REEEP. PPSE in its 4 year-project increased private investment in climate-resilient clean energy projects by helping SMEs achieve financial closure.
Following this momentum and further strengthening project pipeline and investment, CCA has been envisioned as a vehicle for the project’s impact sustainability and the consortium mentioned above has helped launch CCA. EBG Investment Solutions and Capital Connect have partnered to manage and operate CCA, to invest in clean energy, resource efficiency and environmental industry sectors in target countries.
