I am an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP: 090911), a registered Social Worker with the Social Work England SW92275). EMDR, UK and Europe trained and qualified EMDR Psychotherapist, and member of the EMDR UK and Ireland Association.
I am a compassionate, thoughtful, and a skilled therapist providing high quality effective therapy tailored to meet your individual needs. The aim is to help you understand your problems from a new perspective which is the start for getting you back in control. We will then work together in identifying and introducing solutions for you to make changes for life.
I am qualified in a range of therapeutic approaches which allows me to respond thoughtfully and flexibly to each person’s experiences. My work is informed by a knowledge of current research which indicates which approaches are most effective for specific problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma and OCD. All therapy takes place in the context of a confidential and supportive professional relationship in which you can learn to understand your difficulties, create choices and make changes.
