Wir wollen Mobilität für unsere Zukunft gesamtheitlich und in gesellschaftlicher Verantwortung weiterentwickeln. Deshalb hat eine Community-Gruppe in Österreich dieses Manifest erstellt. Folgende Ziele haben wir mit und für dieses Manifest formuliert:
● Wir wollen einen Common Sense zur Zukunft der Mobilität in Österreich (und über dessen Grenzen hinaus) schaffen.
● Wir wollen eine Basis schaffen, damit Organisationen, Startups, etablierte Firmen wie auch zivilgesellschaftliche Gruppen und BürgerInnen zusammenarbeiten können, um Mobilität als Gemeingut allen bestmöglich zugänglich zu machen. Dies bedeutet, dass Mobilität ganzheitlich verstanden wird und unterschiedliche Mobilitätsformen wie Zufußgehen oder Datenmobilität umfasst.
● Unser Ziel ist eine gesellschaftliche Bewegung mit ausreichend Momentum zu schaffen, um eine öffentliche Debatte anzustoßen und offene Fragen aufzuzeigen.
○ Besonders wichtig ist uns im Sinne des Klimaschutzes die Kostentragung durch Verursacher (im Zusammenhang mit Mobilität) - damit keine Abwälzung auf die Allgemeinheit mehr geschieht (Verursacherprinzip)
○ Ein ebenfalls zentraler Punkt stellt für uns ein Umdenken von Mobilität als reines Wettbewerbsszenario hin zu einer Mobilitäts-Ideologie im Sinne von “mobility commons” (Mobilität als Gemeingut) dar.
