DANA was born from the Dialogue Academy for Young Women, an OSCE-led initiative that has empowered multiple generations of young women from Prishtinë/Priština. As an alumnae-driven initiative, DANA connects hundreds of women leaders, activists, and changemakers who have participated in the OSCE Dialogue Academy for Young Women—a program that has, for years, provided a unique space for cross-community engagement, leadership development, and peacebuilding.
DANA is more than a network—it is a sustained movement where alumnae continue their commitment to dialogue and cooperation beyond the academy, working on initiatives that bridge divides, promote gender equality, and create opportunities for young women to lead in peace processes, governance, and public life.
