The European Centre for Certification and Privacy (ECCP) aims at bringing research and innovation to the service of data protection and compliance. It is leading the development of certification schemes and standards with a focus on regulatory compliance assessment. It is actively engaged in research and innovation at international level and is a member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
The ECCP is in charge of maintaining Europrivacy, the European Data Protection Seal approved by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) and European Accreditation (EA) to deliver official GDPR certifications under Art. 42 GDPR.
