WHAT IS EDIBLE CUTLERY?
Edible cutlery is the only effective alternative to plastic cutlery. The plastic spoons and forks that we use contain carcinogens and harmful chemicals and are slowly entering our food-chain. Plastics have harmed our food chain, environment and pose as serious a threat to our lives. The rise in the number of natural disasters, heat waves and temperatures is closely linked to the production and consumption of plastics. We understand that turning off the A/C is not feasible when the temperatures continue to rise, but you can help by cutting down the plastic footprint – and adopting edible cutleries instead.
Edible Cutlery is not only a safer, environmentally conscious alternative to the plastic spoon, it is also healthy. The product is made of a combination of millet, wheat and rice flours kneaded with plain water. They do not contain any preservatives/chemicals/colors/fat/plasticizers etc. and are, therefore, 100% natural.
The standard edible cutlery comes in four flavors: Plain, Salty, Spicy and Sweet but it can be customized to suit any requirement as we have the option of making it in various natural flavors such as strawberry, carrot, beetroot, vanilla etc.
These spoons are biodegradable and takes not more than 15 days to complete decompose once buried in soil and can be served as cattle feed too.
Another benefit of Edible cutlery is that they cannot be reused as they cannot be washed or cleaned. So when you put them in your mouth you can be sure that it hasn’t been to any other mouth before.
