With over 50 years of experience, EMI has become one of the most trusted manufacturers and suppliers of automation solutions and maintenance products for the plastics industry. Founded in 1968, EMI began by offering innovative, high-quality end-of-barrel products for injection molding machines. As the industry grew, so did the need to automate the handling of molded parts—this led to the development of conveyor systems and custom-engineered automation solutions, including central conveying, box filling, part diverting, cooling, and more.
In 2016, we opened a 110,000 sq. ft. (10,000 m²) facility in Jackson Center, Ohio. This state-of-the-art plant enabled us to incorporate next-generation machinery, expand our assembly area, optimize workflow, and significantly increase our storage capacity. We also adopted a powder-coating process that shortens lead times and enhances product finish quality.
EMI Plásticos Internacional S. de R.L. de C.V., a subsidiary of EMI Corp, was established in 2011 to provide technical, commercial, and logistical support to the Mexican market. Based in Querétaro, our facilities include offices and a warehouse stocked with local inventory of End of Arm Tooling (EOAT), injection molding supplies, and conveyors—backed by a dedicated team committed to total customer satisfaction.
