Our debut feature film, Oray by Mehmet Akif Büyükatalay, won the Best First Feature Award at the Berlinale in 2019, along with numerous other international accolades. It saw theatrical releases in Germany, France, and Turkey. In 2022, our first documentary, Love, Deutschmarks and Death by Cem Kaya, premiered at the Berlinale, where it won the Panorama Audience Award. The film was nominated for the German Film Award in 2023, followed by a Grimme Award in 2024.
Our short films have also enjoyed success. Berzah by Deren Ercenk was nominated for the German Short Film Award in 2020, while Immaculata by Kim Lêa Sakkal was invited to the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes.
