FishLead Hub is a youth-centered initiative established to raise and empower young leaders in the fields of fisheries and aquaculture. The idea was born from the observation that a significant percentage of students admitted to study Fisheries and Aquaculture in Nigerian tertiary institutions do so without prior interest in the course. As a result, many struggle to find motivation, direction, and purpose within the field.
This initiative seeks to change that narrative by building a supportive community that mentors, guides, and inspires students, helping them discover the rich career opportunities and impact that lie in sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.
