Daarnaast maken we gebruik van een verschillende meetinstrumenten, zoals isokinetische krachtmetingen (cybex) en loopanalyses, om voor de patiënten het proces inzichtelijk te maken
Tijdens het eerste bezoek aan onze praktijk wordt de diagnose gesteld en besproken wat de oorzaak van de klacht is. Hierna wordt samen met de patiënt de therapie bepaald wat de patiënt na behandeling mag verwachten.
Fysioplein acht het van groot belang dat de patiënt begrijpt wat er aan de hand is en waarom er voor een bepaalde behandeling wordt gekozen. De patiënt zal voor een optimaal en snel herstel ‘huiswerkoefeningen’ krijgen (zie elders op de website).
Het is essentieel dat de patiënt zelf ervaart wat wel en niet mogelijk is tijdens de dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Op deze wijze kan de grens van belasting worden vastgesteld alsmede het specifieke trainingsprogramma worden opgebouwd. Regelmatig wordt er geëvalueerd met behulp van verschillende testen om te beoordelen of de uitgestippelde doelen worden gehaald.
