GEFWIN aims to penetrate the Wind Energy Market with an patented automated composites manufacturing process named Rapid Tow Shearing (RTS). RTS is able to steer fibers without generating defects, drastically expanding the design potential of composite components. RTS will be implemented in the case of a small scale wind turbine blade.
