We’re Green Envy A Cappella, Grenvy for short. In 1991, a few brave souls decided to shake up the Tulane music scene by creating the school’s first ever a cappella group. Since then, we’ve produced 6 studio albums, toured around the country, and met tons of amazing people along the way. The Grenvy Fam is currently comprised of 14 students from across the US, who all happen to love making music.
Whether we’re singing Top 40's hits, oldies, R&B or alternative, we always love performing in and around New Orleans. In addition to our campus concerts, we’ve been lucky enough to sing at weddings, sporting events, school assemblies, and even make a cameo in Pitch Perfect back in 2014 (yes, there are pictures)! We can’t wait to see what this upcoming year will bring!
Some of our favorite performances have been: 2022 GNOF LGBTQ Endowment Cocktail Celebration, The Lighting of the Roosevelt Hotel, Tulane Honors Weekend Admissions Events, The Lighting of McAlister ('19, '21), A Bachelorette Party Wedding Flashmob & First Dance, 2017 Spring Florida Tour, National Anthem at Louisiana Derby, Tulane Athletics Banquet, 2016 Tour Across the Southeastern US, Crescent City Classic, New Orleans Pelicans Halftime Show, Tulane Commencement ('14. '15, '16, '17), American Cancer Society Charity Auction, Barbershop Harmony Society Convention, Tulane President's House, 2014 Fall Tour to Florida, and of course, our cameo in Pitch Perfect.
