De Delftse Studenten Jazz Vereniging 'Groover', opgericht op 21 november 2006, is sinds haar ontstaan uitgegroeid van bigband tot een volwaardige vereniging met ruim 450 leden. D.S.J.V. Groover is inmiddels de grootste studenten jazzvereniging van Nederland en bestaat uit een gevarieerde groep enthousiaste studenten met een gedeelde liefde voor jazzmuziek. Naast de muzikale ontplooiing die de vereniging biedt binnen jazz en aan jazzverwante stijlen zoals blues, soul, funk, latin en fusion, is Groover een platform voor sociale ontmoeting en activiteiten voor studenten.
Groover organiseert jaarlijks vele interne en extern toegankelijke evenementen, borrels, lezingen, repetities en jazzuitjes. Daarnaast heeft de vereniging een divers aanbod aan combo's die geprogrammeerd worden op gigs, en verenigingscombo's zoals de Groover Big Band, jazzkoor 'Vocalzz' en fusionband 'Magatama'.
Groover huist haar activiteiten in het pand op de Brabantse Turfmarkt, waar elke woensdag een borrel met jamsessie gehouden wordt.
