Groundwork Preservation & Planning was founded by Gretchen Hilyard Boyce in 2021 to provide historical resources, cultural resources, and preservation planning services to empower clients in navigating the trajectory of the planning, environmental, and historic review processes. We also assist our clients in developing sensitive design concepts for historic properties that balance project objectives with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Rehabilitation of Historic Properties.
