Harbor Fund seeks out the highest-quality feature film and television productions that promote the public good. Once identified, Harbor raises grants from prospective donors who are aligned with the philanthropic mission of these projects. Harbor invests into the equity or debt financing of the films, with any proceeds returned to a self-sustaining, evergreen fund. This capital is then reinvested in new social impact films in perpetuity.
Harbor allows filmmakers and creators to connect with a source of capital that has historically been unavailable for these types of (non-documentary) projects. We hope to increase the number, quality, scope, scale, and effectiveness of these impact films in creating societal change for good.
