In 2018, Idlewild was reinvented by owners Julie Clark and Jessica Murray, along with store director Tessa Clark. Each an artist in their own right – ceramicist, photographer, and designer - the trio of women wanted to bring a new point of view to Cincinnati, an oft-overlooked gem of the Midwest. They are proud to be part of the movement of women-owned business and focus on making an impact in the local community. This city is the heart and soul of Idlewild and continues to be a constant source of inspiration.
Through a combination of emerging independent designers and an endlessly curious clientele, Idlewild is retelling the story of luxury shopping and invites everyone who walks through the door to write their own chapter. Welcome.
