Intrapersonal intelligence is a broader cognitive ability and deeper intelligence that involves not only self-awareness but also the ability to manage emotions, align with your personal values, and make intentional choices based on your inner core understanding of yourself. The focus is on how well you understand, manage and optimise your inner world: your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, energy, and values. It’s the inner edge enabling you to not only have a strong sense of self, but as a result, elevates how you lead, decide, and show up, especially in high-stakes or high-stress environments. This is the kind of inner training many leaders and individuals aren’t taught, but deeply need (I believe). Self-mastery is the strategy. Leadership is the result.
