IUCBR & SSH plans to host in-depth basic, applied and clinical research activities across a range of diseases and therapeutic areas including a variety of infectious diseases, woman and child health, paediatric neuroscience, developmental disabilities, geriatric disorders including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases, endocrine and metabolic diseases, gastroenterology and hepatology, genetics and genomics, nutrition and lifestyle, respiratory disease, stroke, and surgical innovation. It is expected to be staffed by expert investigators and clinicians, who are leaders in translating lab-based discoveries into new cutting-edge treatments, technologies, diagnostics and other interventions in clinical settings.
