Our department is the unique in its curriculum, and is the only department to merge the concepts of food technology with biochemical engineering. Broadly, our courses include the following subjects throughout the Bachelors and the Masters level- Food Technology, Food Processing Engineering, Food Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry and Nutrition, along with Descriptive Statistics- with a special focus on the laboratory work (including QC tests, Food Item Manufacturing, Chemistry of Food, Fermentation and other Mass and Heat Transfer Operations).
