Das K3B – Kompetenzzentrum Kommunale Konfliktberatung des VFB Salzwedel e.V. berät seit 2016 Gemeinden, Städte und Landkreise im Umgang mit entstehenden oder bereits eskalierten Konflikten im kommunalen Raum.
Mit dem erprobten Ansatz der Kommunalen Konfliktberatung begleiten wir lokale Akteure und Akteurinnen aus Politik, Zivilgesellschaft und Verwaltung dabei, die komplexe Gemengelage lokaler Konflikte zu entwirren, Bedürfnisse verschiedener Interessengruppen herauszuarbeiten, die Wirkung (oder fehlende Wirkung) jeweiliger Lösungsansätze zu verstehen und weitere zu entwickeln. Damit trägt Kommunale Konfliktberatung zu einem besseren, demokratischen und partizipativen gesellschaftlichen Klima bei.

Das K3B berät Kommunen und wirbt Projekte mit Förderung von EU, Bund, Ländern und Stiftungen ein. Es sichert Fachlichkeit und bietet, durch Veröffentlichungen und Veranstaltungen, Raum für fachliche Entwicklung und Austausch.
