I work with new and aspiring leaders in education to help them develop their skills and careers so they can confidently make a difference in their school communities. I partner with my coachees to identify their goals, offering a safe space to think so you can make sustainable changes in your life. Together we will explore what you want to achieve, how it fits in with what is important to you, and help you shift away from areas that have traditionally made you feel stuck. I have spent over 20 years in education, mostly at senior leadership level, helping young people successfully transfer to the next stage of the lives. During that time, I have worked with many new and older colleagues to develop their careers, have greater impact in the workplace and gain promotion. My roles have been varied, from supporting families going through complex and challenging circumstances as Pastoral Deputy Head and Safeguarding Lead, to forging new links with partner schools and institutions locally and globally. At the heart of it has always been human connection and my ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. My current leadership role is primarily based around staff professional development and training as well as resolving issues of teaching quality. Working in a girl’s school, I have a particular interest in female leadership development. Much of my career has been spent mentoring new teachers to the profession as well as staff transitioning into new roles in middle and senior management. With the growth of coaching in schools, I have become particularly interested in the ways coaching can support people to understand themselves and others better and bring about personal growth. I am enjoying combining the skills I have gained in education with different coaching models from my executive coaching studies at Henley so that I can best support my coachees.
