I work with new and aspiring leaders in education to help them develop their skills and careers so they can confidently make a difference in their school communities.

I led regular CPD for staff, as well as mentoring Early Career Teachers, PGCE students and other new entrants to the profession. Responsibilities included tracking student progress, monitoring the quality of teaching and learning, resolving teaching quality issues, arranging professional development opportunities and overseeing trips as Educational Visits Coordinator.

Partnerships coordinator - set up new year round programme of events to engage local primary and secondary schools. Wrote successful bid for HSBC/GDST funding and led primary Mandarin outreach project. Established links and developed programme of activities with sister schools in China and America. Co-led two year Erasmus project focused on gender issues in schools which led to new German exchange. Masterminded several very successful ISI and HMC inspections.Educational Visits Coordinator - established new stystems, streamlined communications, developed budgeting guidance, led staff training and increased trip provision throughout the senior school.This role varied hugely depending on the needs at the time but other highlights included introducing Mandarin in the Junior School, Acting Head of Mandarin KS1-5 (2015-16), NQT mentoring, staff recruitment and development, assessing numerous DofE expeditions, Acting Deputy Head Pastoral (autumn 2016), Extra-curricular programme coordinator (2017), Public Speaking and Debating Coordinator (2017-18), Acting Head of Sixth (summer 2019), DofE Expedition Supervisor (summer 2021).

Pastoral Deputy Head responsible for pupil and staff well-being. Designated Teacher for Child Protection and Safeguarding and member of Ealing Safeguarding Children Board education sub group. Training and INSET co-ordinator. Led initiatives on peer support, anti-bullying, e-safety.

Responsible for the daily running of the whole Sixth Form, UCAS applications, PSHE programme, marketing the Sixth Form. Introduced two day UCAS conference, programme of events to retain KS4 students and designed and led first GDST BMAT day. Founder member of Ealing Independent State School Partnership. Member of GDST CareerStart and Work Experience steering committees.

Acting Head of German (2001). Assistant Housemistress (2000-02). Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award leader (2000-02). Saturday Night Entertainment Coordinator (2000-02) - organised and ran all Saturday night entertainment for the whole school.

Taught French and German from Year 7-12. Set up a new link with an Italian school in Liguria including leading a student visit. Ran an Italian lunch club. Involved in the development of new language college status.
